Organization thwarts stressors
It always amazes me how complex weddings have become. Not only are there a million details to finalize and pull together, but there are budget woes and family stressors all rolled into one big ball. And that can gain some serious momentum as it begins to roll downhill, getting closer and closer to the wedding day.

Bride, groom shouldn't advertise for gifts
Dear Alene: What is correct etiquette for a bride and groom to let their wedding invitees know where they are registered? Is a little note inside the invitation with registry information OK? - Misty Misty, this is an often asked question, and one that I have answered many times before. With our basic rules of society changing so fast, I understand it is hard to keep up with what is appropriate and what isn't. All that said, let's look at what is and isn't OK.

Should I invite co-workers?
Dear Alene: What should I do about inviting my co-workers? They all know I'm getting married, and nobody has acted like they expect an invitation. But, a lot of the ladies I work with are always asking me how plans are coming along and stuff. All of these ladies have acted as mentors to me at one point since I've worked here. They are all so sweet, but it would really add a large number to the guest list. There is one girl who is my age and sits across from me who I talk with every day and have become close with. I definitely want to invite the girl who is my age, but what about everybody else? Can I just invite her? Should I consider inviting the older ladies I've become close with? - Terrie
