LEWISTON, N.Y. - The UAHhockey team might never be able to compete with Alabama or Auburn football in terms of national exposure.

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Derek Johnston was a redshirt five years ago when the University of Alabama-Huntsville lost to Rollins in the NCAA Division II tournament. On Saturday, he had the game in his hands against the same team in the same event.

UAH ahead of schedule
Going into the season, University of Alabama in Huntsville basketball coach Lennie Acuff believed the Chargers would put another good team on the floor. The program, while it had been successful, had underachieved in Acuff's mind since UAH advanced to the NCAA tournament in 2006.

UAH set for tourney
Four years ago, Tom Train was part of that historic UAH team that shocked the sport with a College Hockey America tournament win and a run to the final 16 of the NCAA Division I tournament.
