Thanks to prosecutor, staff I'd like to take this time to congratulate Nikki Patterson, John Tyson and the staff who worked the Herman Thomas case. The jurors were afraid to sign whatever necessary papers, I believe. But one thing trumps the justice system: God. Speak for yourself To the person who said the whole community lost because of what Bob Clark has said: Speak for yourself. I don't feel the whole community lost. I felt justice was done. Between God and Thomas The only people who know what went on are God and Thomas. Everyone else needs to keep their opinion to themselves. They weren't there. FBI should probe jury On the Herman Thomas case: I think the FBI needs to look into this and see if the foreman did indeed change someone's vote. He tried and lost; move on Frances Coleman certainly had a fine column Sunday. No matter what my opinion is about the verdict, we need to get behind our prosecutor. He did what he thought was best. He prosecuted, he lost. We have to move on and support him. Glad to see snapper limits About the red snapper fishing: I'm so glad they're going to limit them. I hope they make it where recreational fishermen can't catch anything but dirty old catfish. That boar needed to die I can't understand these callers angry over the big boar's killing. Do you know what a hog that size would eat? It would be enough to starve dozens of deer to death, squirrels, rabbits, everything else. Something like that needs to be taken out. This big piggy went to devastate I wish you would tell the public that these wild pigs are devastating to farmers' fields. They root up the woods. They're terrible for the environment. They're not cuddly little pigs. Sometimes the hawk eats you Hawks have been eating squirrels for thousands of years. People have hunted for thousands of years. The rich have controlled the poor for thousands of years. Why can't people understand the way things go in this world? Why must they complain about them every day? Let everybody have a shot On the first day the swine flu vaccines were offered to the high-risk groups, more than 1,000 doses were left over. Now it's time the general population has a chance to be vaccinated. If you don't want the vaccine, let someone else get it. MORE OPINION
