What went wrong? I'm new to the area, and I've heard a lot about Prichard. I heard it was one of the largest cities in Alabama at one time. How did it get to be the place that it is today? Project that never ends About the Florida Street Extension construction project: I'm not from around here, but I'm pretty sure they built the Long Island Expressway in less time. If the city officials were made to be held up in traffic every day, like the rest of the citizens of Mobile, this project would get done a lot quicker. 'Way to go, jurors' The only thing that lets evil prevail is for a good man to do nothing. Way to go, jurors, on the Thomas trial. Hold on to license The Thomas case to me represents all the evils that are inherent in a society that is controlled by the elite. At least he was removed from office, but I hope the bar association is at least smart enough to never let him practice again. Move on to next case Once a court case is over and the jurors have been dismissed, there is nothing else that can be done. It is over. Plenty of study time now Mr. Langford, the ex-mayor of Birmingham, during his Bible study, he must have missed the part that says, "Thou shalt not steal." Union stronghold loosening This is in response to the person who wants to fly only on union-built aircraft: Boeing is now going to add a second line of aircraft built in South Carolina, built by nonunion workers. These are crafts they plan on offering in the future. Already in the air I see where EADS has another tanker in the air flying and ready to be delivered. How many has Boeing made so far? Dead for nothing I read with disgust the story of the boar that was killed. Why is it humans see a magnificent animal and feel they have to slaughter it for their own perverse gratification?
