Message to officials:

Get the job done

Here's an idea for all our elected officials: Get off your behinds and do the jobs to which you have been elected.

Forget about your future political plans and do the job at hand. You were elected to represent the people who elected you and to take their wishes into consideration when governing.

Quit trying to push your agenda and the far-left agenda that the Obama administration is pushing down our throats.

Listen to those who sent you to Congress. Quit hiding behind closed doors to make policies. Make sure that the people are informed about pending legislation, and ask for their input.

This is our country, and it must be preserved.

Wake up and see what direction this administration is taking our country. We have a great country that was built by our forefathers, and it can continue to be a great country.

But if this administration has its way, the government soon will have full control in all aspects of our lives. Don't let this happen.

Your future and the future of your children and grandchildren, as well as the futures of all our families, depend on the continuation of our capitalistic form of government in this great republic.
