Two men arrested in Robertsdale drug raid
Two men were being held in the Baldwin County Corrections Center on Monday after Robertsdale police and county authorities found marijuana and a methamphetamine lab in the home of one of the suspects, officials said Monday.
Richard Leshawn Estill, 32, of Robertsdale and Kenneth Dewitt Gray, 19, of Summerdale were arrested Friday night, Maj. Anthony Lowery, Sheriff's Office civil affairs commander, said Monday.
Officers from the Baldwin County Drug Task Force, Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division and Robertsdale found the contraband during a search of Estill's home on Hammond Street, Lowery said.
The arrests came after an undercover operation, Lowery said. Investigators searching the house found a small amount of marijuana growing on the property, equipment to make methamphetamine and a small amount of meth in the home, he said.
Officers also found two guns that they believe were stolen, Lowery said.
Both men were charged with first-degree manufacturing of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Estill was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Estill was being held Monday with his bail set at $33,500, according to jail records. Gray's bail was set at $31,000.
