Reading Kerouac, ready to hit the road
I'm currently reading the American classic "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac. It follows a writer in the making, Sal, across the nation and back again. We are allowed to watch over his shoulder as he explores life in all parts of America. He struggles on every page to discover who he is and where he belongs on the dusty, travel-worn roads of the country.

Science team's win perfect birthday present
Earlier this year, I joined Catholic High's Science Olympiad team, an extracurricular activity led by our talented chemistry teacher, Theresa Chivers. The culmination of the team effort was a local competition in February with 23 events for middle and high school students.
