Slumdog Millionaire Don and Kay Cornelius: While "Slumdog Millionaire" is usually stunning and has several fine characterizations, we found the plot hard to follow and also exhausting to watch and a bit too long, as most movies are now. Still, l can see why it won the Best Picture award. Notorious Tasha Green: "Notorious" takes a far too rosy and simplistic view of a complicated life. Biggie, or Christopher Wallace as his mother called him, was clearly a man of great charm and wit, but also a drug dealer, an abusive husband, and a son not appreciative of his mother's sacrifice. Maybe in 70 years, when all those involved in the story are dead and the truth can finally be told, a more incisive, less glorifying biopic can be made of the Notorious B.I.G. Confessions of a Shopaholic Jane Keller: "The Confessions of a Shopaholic" has it all: comedy, romance and drama. Rebecca Bloomwood hits home for many of us who are easily influenced by a designer label and the words sample sale. Amber Allison: This movie was a very fun and entertaining "chick flick." The lead actor, Hugh Dancy, was very charming. The storyline did have quite a few differences from the popular book of the same name. However, I would highly recommend it. Taken Dan Estremera: An action film starring Liam Neeson will not disappoint fans of this genre. In the beginning the film slowly sets the groundwork of several events that will catapult the viewer onto a roller coaster of rapidly defining action scenes. Neeson, an accomplished modern day warrior, allows the viewer an insight of his expertise, which is displayed throughout with mind-boggling results. Coraline Paige Vaughn: The movie was cute, entertaining and predictable. Recommended for children over 6 years. MORE ENTERTAINMENT
