While anything remotely "Star Wars" potentially is a welcome trek for hard-core fans, however, it will be a mixed thrill given that the saga returns to the big screen as a cartoon.

The film -- shot locally in Alabama and Tennessee -- is said to be a good choice for kids, and IMDb likens it to the 90s-kids' favorite, Homeward Bound.

"We're excited to partner with Charter to be able to provide a unique opportunity for filmmakers--locally and across the nation--to win such a substantial prize honing their craft for such a wonderful cause," said Catherine Pfitzer, Sidewalk's executive director.
Sidewalk Chalk Filmmakers are asked to create a short film to raise awareness of pediatric cancer. The winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize plus a handcrafted, cast-iron award sculpture from a local Sloss Furnaces artist. The winner will be announced at the Sidewalk film festival at the end of September.

Some clever linguistics guru somewhere even came up with a word for this pop-culture phenomenon: the "Bromance."
"Pineapple Express" tries to breathe some fresh life into this comic genre by turning it into a serious action movie. But because it tries to be both, it doesn't completely work on either level.
