Moody budget includes capital projects, no raises

The Moody City Council has approved an $8.2 milÂlion budget that includes capital projects, purchases and no employee raises. The spending plan, for the fiscal year that started Oct. 1, includes about $2.1 million left from a more than $3 million, 20-year bond issue the city took out about two months ago, said Moody Mayor Joe Lee.
