Homewood police report the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 at Lakeshore Parkway are open again after being closed about 4 p.m. by a three-car crash. Homewood Police Sgt. Andrew Didcoct said one car overturned and caught fire, but he did not know the extent of injuries. Police had kept southbound lanes open and moving slowly. Full story »
