Our archives are not available online, but The Times now offers its readers an archival research service. We'll search our computer database for locally written stories dating back to January 1, 1992.

It's simple. Just call our library staff at (256) 532-4414, tell them what you're looking for, and we'll do the rest. We'll charge it to your credit card and fax or mail the information to you by the end of the next business day.

This service is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time.

Letters, of no more than 250 words, must bear writer's full name including middle initial, address with zip code and daytime phone number. Middle initials and zip codes will be published. Other information is used for verification but not published or given to other parties.

Individual letter-writers may be limited to one published letter every 30 days. The Times does not publish poetry. Letters become the property of The Huntsville Times and will not be returned. Letters may be edited and may be re-used in any medium.
