Game show to feature Mobilian

If you think you see someone wearing a "PICK ME, I'M FROM MOBILE AL" T-shirt on today's episode of "The Price is Right," it's no illusion.

Meoshe Williams, a 2005 graduate of the Alabama School of Mathematics and Science, was chosen as a contestant during a taping Sept. 22, said her mother, Betty Williams of Mobile.

Betty Williams said she had gone to visit her daughter, who is in graduate school at the University of Southern California, and Meoshe took her mother to the taping.

Meoshe's selection as a contestant was a bonus, Betty Williams said. "They only

called nine people down. I had no idea this was going to happen."

Betty Williams said she and her daughter were told that the episode would air today. Broadcast schedules are subject to change, but the show's Web site indicated that an episode taped Sept. 22 will air at 10 a.m. on CBS, locally WKRG-TV5.
