Four bands battle for bragging rights (and $200) tonight
Tonight, four bands will duke it out at Crossroads, 115 Clinton Ave., in the second Battle of the Bands.
They include Heroes for Tonight, punk/power pop; Planet Ink, funk rock/psychedlic; For This We Strive, hard-core metal; and Fist Full of Beard, rock.
The cover charge is $5, and the battle starts at 10.
The winner of each battle of the bands wins $200 and then returns in January to battle for a grand prize and championship. The winner will headline a paying gig at Crossroads in the future.
The next Battle of the Bands is Dec. 3, and there are slots available for local bands. Call 533-3484.
