    State Agriculture Commissioner Ron Sparks criticized U.S. Rep. Artur Davis of Birmingham for not saying whether he supports forms of gambling such as slot machines, card games, craps, roulette and sports betting. The Davis campaign, in turn, said it was "embarrassing" that Sparks does not know that that federal law restricts all but a handful of states from legalizing sports betting.  Full story »
