These crimes were reported to Birmingham police:

Merin Dubon, 26, of Birmingham was driving in the 100 block of 10th Street West at 11 a.m. Tuesday when a man with a gun got in with a woman and a 3-year-old girl. The man put the gun to Dubon's son's head and made Dubon drive to the 1500 block of Warrior Road. The man made Dubon and his son get out, then drove away. The car is a 2002 red Ford Mustang; license plate, 79111AY.

A gunman robbed the post office at 1821 11th Ave. South at 4:47 p.m. Thursday. Jeremy Gray --
