    A.J Tyler had 19 points and eight rebounds as Central Florida defeated Auburn 84-74 at the Glenn Wilkes Classic on Friday night.   It was Central Florida's first victory over an SEC school.     The Auburn men's basketball team lost its second game in a row Friday, falling to UCF 84-74 in the first of three games at the Glenn Wilkes Classic in Daytona Beach, Fla.  The Golden Knights entered the game 0-27 against SEC teams. Frankie Sullivan scored 22 and DeWayne Reed had 15 for the Tigers (1-2).  Full story »

    AUBURN -- Junior college transfer Kenny Gabriel is out, senior starter Tay Waller is questionable, and the Auburn men's basketball team must play three games in three days.     Auburn's Tay Waller out with injured quad

    Auburn senior guard Tay Waller will not play in tonight's season opener against Niagara. A team official said Waller has an injured quadriceps. He did not dress out for the game. Waller averaged 12.1 points a game last year and was second in the SEC with 100 3-pointers made. Freshman Earnest Ross started in his place. Full story »
