Frequently Asked Questions

 CHAT AND FORUMS

Why don't you add more forums?
We are always looking for good forum topics. If you have a good idea, please tell us and we will consider it the next time we modify our forums. Forums that generate little interest may be removed and replaced with more popular topics.

Why don't you remove all of the offensive language in the forums?
We will remove offensive and inappropriate posts when we become aware of them. We do have hosts for some of our more popular forums, but we are unable to constantly monitor every forum. For more information on our forums, please see our rules of usage page. Users can alert the forum monitors to inappropriate posts by using the 'Inappropriate Posts Alert' button on all of our forums pages.

How can I use more than one chat name on my computer?
Here's how to use different accounts with ChatXtra:

  • Click on the Revise Preferences link on the right.
  • Uncheck the Remember my Password box
  • Scroll to the bottom of that window, and click 'Submit' to save your changes
  • Click the Log Out link on the right
  • Click the Return to ChatXtra link on the top of the logout page
  • Log back in under a different chat name.
Make sure to do this for all of your accounts so you won't run into this problem in the future.

What happened to my chat points?
We delete all chat points on the first of every month so all users get a fair chance every month to appear in the Top 100 list. Chat points are purely for fun, and provide a method for users to compete on who can obtain the most in a month. No additional benefits or prizes are awarded to users who appear in the Top 100 list.
